Images from the three WLFL conservation reserves

WLFL currently owns or is the principal trustee of three properties in Queensland. These are the Bukkulla Conservation Park, the Witta Conservation reserve and the Neil Holloway Conservation Reserve at Reesville.

Bukkulla Conservation Park

Bukkulla lies in coastal central Queensland near the town of Marlborough, which is approximately 90 kilometres north west of Rockhampton on the Bruce Highway.

Bukkulla Reserve covers 1813 hectares and abuts the Pine Mountain State Forest. Together, these make an important contribution in this region where little of the area's natural heritage is protected.

For more details on Bukkulla, see the page on Managing Bukkulla Conservation Park and Conservation Values of Bukkulla.

Witta Conservation Reserve

Witta Conservation Reserve is a located near Maleny, in south east Queensland. It is a steeply sloping block, much of it covered in rainforest, and supports endangered regional ecosystems. For more details, see the page on Witta Conservation Reserve.

Holloway Conservation Reserve at Reesville

Through the generosity of Mr Neil Holloway, WLFL has acquired its newest reserve at Reesville, south west of Maleny in South East Queensland and not far from the Witta Conservation Reserve. For more details, see the page on Reesville Conservation Reserve.
