WLFL currently owns or is the principal trustee of four properties in Queensland. These are the Bukkulla Regional Park, the Witta Nature Refuge, the Neil Holloway Nature Refuge at Reesville and the Rosedale Nature Reserve.
Bukkulla Regional Park
Bukkulla lies in coastal central Queensland near the town of Marlborough, which is approximately 90 kilometres north west of Rockhampton on the Bruce Highway.
Bukkulla Regional Park covers 1813 hectares and abuts the Pine Mountain State Forest. Together, these make an important contribution in this region where little of the area's natural heritage is protected.
Bukkulla Reserve is immediately north of Pine Mountain on the map above
Witta Nature Refuge
Witta Conservation Reserve is a located near Maleny, in south east Queensland. It is a steeply sloping block, much of it covered in rainforest, and supports endangered regional ecosystems. For more details, see the page on Witta Nature Refuge.
Holloway Nature Refuge at Reesville
Through the generosity of Mr Neil Holloway, WLFL has acquired a reserve at Reesville, south west of Maleny in South East Queensland and not far from the Witta Conservation Reserve. For more details, see the page on Reesville Nature Refuge.
Rosedale Nature Reserve
WLFL has acquired its most recent reserve at Rosedale, 60 kilometres north wrest of Bundaberg Queensland. For more details,
see the page on Rosedale Nature Reserve.
